My Poetry
a letter.
to my dearest,
can you beg the roaring sea
to send you back to me?
-clover l. louise
dawn.
some things change
like the way sunlight hits your face
and the way you look at me
-clover l. louise
eyes of dreamers (wonder.)
celebrate your eyes, geode crystals
they are the things you see life with
so that you may distort it
to something even better than now.
anything is better than now.

honey tint.
O, honey souled boys and girls
the sweetest people of all
they thrive in the summer,
golden hair; the world's thrall
and a little bit more free
because they're as sweet
as can be

hireath.
i ran into the trees
your arms were not my home
your ribs were not my shelter
the woods called my name
long before
you even knew my eyes
-clover l. louise
in the glen.
i wasn't lost
i just didn't want to be found
-clover l. louise
soon, but far.
one day, but i cannot tell
for the date would change-
one day you will visit a church
it will call to you in the night,
perfectly under the stars.
a man cloaked in black is waiting.
shall you join him?
shall you betray what you know?
shall you join him?
shall you run?
if you must follow in my footsteps
and run far away, please know this:
he won't tell you when.
